Hi,

It may have taken over 70 years, but an inscription on a plaque at the
Jewish cemetery in Czernowitz answers a sarcastic question commonly heard in
pre-WWII Czernowitz: Sind Sie katholisch oder lernen Sie englisch? (are you
catholic or do you study English?)
