[Cz-L] "other projects" Der Tempel

Following up on our discussion about the "Tempel":

The Holocaust Era Assets conference, recently held in the Check Republic,
on June 30 approved the Terezín Declaration the aim of which is to ease
the restitution process for Jewish owned art and private and communal
property taken during the Holocaust.
The declaration was approved by 46 states and officially announced in the
speech of the Czech Prime Minister Jan Fischer. Among the states which
signed the declaration are Germany, Romania and the Ukraine.

The full text of the declaration is available on the internet.
Here I just want to copy one pertinent paragraph:

> 1. We urge, where it has not yet been effectively achieved, to make every
> effort to provide for the restitution of former Jewish communal and religious
> property by either in rem restitution or compensation, as may be appropriate;

BUT, keep in mind, that this declaration is in the nature of a non-binding
agreement.
