Nice to see these photos of my mother's (Jana Koffler) birthplace. She was
born in Vizhnitz in 1926 and grew up in Czernovitz, forced to Transnistria
and worked on tobacco farms as a slave laborer. If you can direct me to more
photos of Vizhnitz, that would be appreciated. Also, my father (Natan
Werner) born in Sniatyn (1907), married and moved to Kosow, was one of some
50 that survived the aktionens. Been trying for more than a year now to find
further evidence of my parents ' ordeal. Been monitoring this discussion
group and have learned a lot and appreciate everyone's input.
