[Cz-L] Invitation: Bukovina Memorial Ceremony

Dear members,
 
You are hereby invited to attend the yearly "AZKARA", the memorial ceremony for the Bukovinian Jews, victims of the Holocaust.
The event will take place on October 11th, 2009, at 15:00 at the Z.O.A. House, 26 Ibn-Gvirol St., Tel-Aviv, second floor auditorium.
On the agenda:
15:00 gathering & registration. Refreshments served.
15:30 Introduction by Mr. Yitzchak Yalon, president of the WOBJ
15:45 Guest speaker: Prof. Florence Heymann, on "Continuity of the Generations"
16:30 Presentation of "The Next Generations Group" plans and agenda, by proposed next manager of the WOBJ, Mr. Yohanan Ron-Zinger
17:00 "YZKOR" and candle lighting by cantor his eminence Rabi Salomon
17:30 adjournment of the event with singing "HATIKVA", choir & audience
The event will be decorated by Hebrew and Yiddish songs by the "Bond Choir"
Free admittance. Donations are welcome.
Copies of the monthly "Die Stimme" and of books published by/with help of the WOBJ will be presented in the foyler.
