[Cz-L] Visit to Berlin

Hello all,
Just to inform you that Hedwig Brenner aus Haifa/Czernowitz ( "Lea's
Fluch" and other books) is now in Berlin to promote her last book, a
biography with many Cz. photographs by a Berlin photographer, Christel
Wollmann-Fiedler, who has become good friends with Hedwig, We met her
yesterday and find her in great shape and full of energy considering her
young age. Tomorrow she will present the book officially and speak about
her life in two places in Berlin.
She gave German TV an interview, and will also give two talks in Vienna.
We also had an informal chat together with my mother, my uncle Martin
Meerbaum and his friend, Ruschka Goldstein and Hedwig. Four
Czernowitzers - they had a lot to talk about, and a lot of questions.As
usual when Czernowitzers meet. Where did you live, who were your
parents, what did they do, where were you during the war, during the
Russian period, during the German one. And after the war?
I am sure most of you will recognize some patterns. And Hardy might give
a comment.
