This is Czernowitz July 24 1941.
They are still shooting Jews ,occasionally.
  In two months the Jews will go to the Ghetto and Transnistria - some never
to return.
   It is a hot day and the man , not used to such work, prespires. His fate
is uncertain.
    In the morning when he was called up ,he put on the worst suit he had,
the one
    with the "latte" in the knee region.( Most holes start at the
knee -because of the wear.)
      But the unprofessional latte is not his main concern at the moment.

my mother had a saying "a misse latte is besser wie a schaner loch" - I
probably don't transliterate very well - meaning to say "an ugly patch is
better than a pretty hole "
