Dear All
As I consider myself part of the few "Czernowitzers" who still carry the
memory of the place, its Jewish life, and establishments which were part of
our everyday life - I must confess that I have had a kind of overbearing
attitude towards the work done by the people there and of which Hardy shared
with us through the photos. After seeing this project and in our own mother
language I take off my hat to all the people mentioned which have produced
it. I join Hardy's opinion that it is worthy of our site's front page. I do
not know if it's possible or feasible but I think it would be very nice if
the addresses could be given in the language the Jews used meaning German.
Anyway as I said before this is a serious piece of history work and the
people that produced it have my gratitude and highest estimation. I'll now
try to acquire one.
Wish you all a Happy Chanukah
  Yosef Eshet, Raanana, Israel
