Concerning Cora Schwarz' question about the "Leon Koenig" store. It was
called (in Romanian) Librarie si Papetarie, I bought all my schoolbooks
there, sometimes notebooks and pencils too, although I frequently also bought
pencils and writing stuff from "Druckman", which was located on the opposite
side , (or as we said in Czernowitzerish schraeg visavis) not on Ringplatz
but on Tempelgasse at the beginning of Postgasse. A grandson of Leon
Koenig, bearing the same name, is alive and well in Queens, NYC.
