Bukowina was always considered Rumania by Rumanians.
200 years of Austrian rule was foreign occupation.
The commemorative plate in Czernowitz calls Schmidt a Bukowinean.
On his gravestone , which is part in Hebrew, it says Kammersaenger.
Which is a honorary title.
They can say whatever they like ,we know who he was.
