[Cz-L] New Article in JGSI Newsletter

The February 2010 issue of "Morasha", the newsletter of The Jewish Genealogical Society of Illinois, is now available on the JGSI website. In it, I share my family story about how I dated a photo and matched it with civil records. The story is entitled, "How A Ring Led Me to a Record: A Story of Love, Fashion and Photo Dating". I know that many of you are interested in old photos (particularly from Czernowitz) and as some of you know I date family photos. The article explains further how I go beyond just the date to tell the stories that are in the photos.
