Subject: Re: [Cz-L] Are you from Rumania ?

A week ago I started a thread about our identity ,a matter worth
consideration. A few replied giving us their position ,the majority
did not take part in this discussion.
But strangely as it is ,this thread brought back the memory,
of old used book shops on the Herrengasse where Zane Grey
(whom we called Zahne -rhymes with Sahne) books where
  on sale.
And here the memory works wonders . More and more book
shops pop up bringing back memories of our youth.
And dont forget Edgar Wallace (we called Valatsche).
But also Old Shatterhand and Kara ben Nemsi.
        And Remarque and B. Traven.
All the above makes being called a Rumanian more supportable.
       Hardy
