If indeed the Russians entered Czernowitch on March 28, 1944, does
anyone know the date when the Russian army came through Transnistria,
and the mode of transportation used by many, (some, most?) to get
back to Czernowitz? How long did that return journey take?
I do agree wholeheartedly with Hardy, that the"Day we joined the Ehpes
group" has certainly been a highlight for me in this past, mostly bad
news, decade. Thank you Miriam, Bruce, Hardy, et al.
