Dear Miriam,
I don't know where you live, but if you are in the U.S. try to buy the book "The Holocaust in Romania," by Radu Ioanid.
On page 213 you will find the information you are looking for.
In my book "Ruth's Journey, there is a map of all the Transnistria camps,Scazhinetz (probably spelled in many different ways) included.
I hope to have helped you in some way.
Best regards,
Ruth Glasberg Gold
.

Subject: [Cz-L] Scazenits
My mother told us she was in a concentration camp with her mother, named =
Scazenits, where her mother died and from which she escaped. I can find =
no reference to Scazenits other than the Yizgor Project=2C where Klara Osfeld talks about Scazenits as a labor camp. =20
I'm wondering if a roster exists for the camp.
