In view of all the advice sent recently to this list about how to best travel
to Chernivtsi, I feel obligated to add:
It is possible to travel to Chernivtsi in a number of ways.
1. Go to Suceava Romania, by car, train or plane.
From Suceava to Chernivtsi it is necessary to travel with either a Romanian
taxi driver, or a Ukrainian taxi driver.
2. It is possible to fly to Lviv from Vienna or Munich and then be picked up
by a driver from Chernivtsi. The drive does NOT take 5 hours, more like 3.
There are small places on the way in which to stop for a cup of tea and/or
a visit to the bathroom.
3. There is a direct flight to Chernivtsi from Timisoara Romania, via
Carpat Air.
I highly recommend that you make arrangements for your stay in Chernivtsi,
as well as for taxi connections, with Zoya Danilovich.
