[Cz-L] introduction

Hello everybody,

I just join Cz-L mailling list and I'd like to introduce myself. My name
is Vasile Craciunescu and I work as a researcher at the National
Meteorological Administration Bucharest (Remote Sensing and GIS
Laboratory). I was born in Campulung Moldovenesc (Kimpolung Moldauisch).
Currently I'm doing an PhD on semantic cartography, applied on
historical cartographic/graphic/text documents for Bukovina. In my free
time I further develop geo-spatial.org (http://earth.unibuc.ro/), a
collaborative effort by and for the Romanian community to facilitate the
sharing of geospatial knowledge and the discovery and publishing of free
geographic datasets and maps.

I hope that in the future I'll be able to contribute with interesting
informations to this community.
