Dear Vasile,

Thanks for the kind note!

I grew up in Czernowitz and have spent most summers in youth in our
grandparents' house in Vatra Dornei and also in Rostoki on the Ceremus
river.

My father was born in Brodina in 1903 and grew up in Radauti.
Last but not least, my grandfather came from what was called Uscieryki and
was later named Sergie(?). Is it near the river Ceremus?
Where is it and what is it called today?

Looking forward to your research of historic maps and many thanks if you can
help.
