   Your post is a ray of light .
    Yes ,I have been notified some time ago about this event .
   I have also notified the list for our members to notice and be happy.
   As long as people remember , there is hope.
     Of course I would prefer a video installation of the "Chernivtsi"
cinema
    presented on the walls of the original Temple walls.
      But as long that there are young people who care about the past
     there is hope.

Dear Members of the CZ-List,

I'd like to inform you that in terms of the international poetry
festival Meridian Czernowitz, to be held in September 2010 for the
first time, there's going to be an event, which is dedicated to
raising the public attention to the fate of the Temple.

This is an art event - a video-installation that, using the modern
technical appliances, will turn the present day looking building into
the synagogue the way it used to look like before the war. This will
be accompanied by the songs of Joseph Schmidt.

This activity is done by very young people, citizens of Chernivtsi,
who care about its past.
