[Cz-L] Archives in Chernivtsi

Shalom,

We are planning to visit the Archives in Chernivtsi at the end of next
month.

We wrote to the Archives in Chernivtsi over a month ago and have not
received a reply yet.

Does anyone in the group know if at the Archives we need some sort of
proof of who we are and how we are related to those we seek information
(outside of showing them our passport). We have been receiving
conflicting information on what "proof," Ukrainian style means. Does
anyone in the group have something official in writing what "proof" we
need for the archives?

While we are asking questions, does anyone know how much money you are
allowed to bring into Ukraine?
