The picture of Friedmann's brought back memories of their Schmettensuppe served, this time of the year, in their garden and made with new potatoes and new peas. I can taste it now!

Progress has come to old Russischegasse.
They are now doing " remont" to the the No 4 near entry to Ringplatz.
Old Friedmann dairy restaurant at No 6 gets a protective cover .
Will it survive progress ?
