Dear Bruce:
My grandfather had a shop in the Kuczurmarerstrasse and not in the strada Cuciurul Mare
I was born in the Russischegasse and not in strada Romană
My stepmother and her sister had a shop in the Herrengasse and not in strada Iancu Flondor
My cousin Arthur der Grosse lived in the Steingasse and not in strada O.Josif.

I could go on and on. We spoke German and Yiddish, Romanian was strange to us.
We longed for the k. u. k. Monarchie. Jews were finally citizens and had rights and we believed it will never end.
