[Cz-L] A finger from the past.

  Stuck in the center of Czernowitz stands the cinema Chernivtsi.
    Like a bone in the throat.
   Everybody knows it is the Israelite Temple.
     Of the German speaking old Jewish community.
      That once populated Czernowitz , a town built by the Austrian K. u. K.
      If they want it or dont , they have to face history.
      Degraded , humbled the Temple still fulfills its function.
       To remind the passers-by that once there were Jews in town.
         Many Jews, proud Jews.
