Look at all the very well dressed people on the Herrengasse!
By the length, or rather the shortness of the skirts, I would say that this
photograph was taken between 1941 and 1944.
By the number of people on the Herrengase, I would say that it was taken in
the summer of 1941, before about 30 000 Czernowitz inhabitants were sent to
Transnistria.
