I am way behind with my e mail but just read Edgar's blog re the Schwartz Adler anniversary.
Finally I have confirmation that my great uncle, Salamon Gerstenhaber (whose surname is mentioned at the end of the piece) was indeed involved with this Cz institution. Information provided by his nephew was that he managed the Hotel from about 1933 until his death in 1939.
