In 1945-46 I met Rike Pressner, who lived with her parents in Vama (Near
Kimpolung). She came to Suczawa to finish her high school studies. She
later got married to my former classmate from Czernowitz, Josef (Yozhi)
Schmelzer. I met Yozhi on several occasions, they lived in Beersheba. I
don't know where they are now, they were planning to get an apartment in a
home for senior citizens. Perhaps one of the Cz. List members living in
that part of Israel could help.

Subject: [Cz-L] Pressner Family
Dear Bukowiners,
I just received the email below from my friend, Sylvie Gsell. She
just returned from a visit to Bukovina and Transnistria with her
cousin, Nomy Weber. If you have information for Sylvie, please write
to her at <gsell.sylvie_at_gmail.com> and feel free to copy the list if
you wish.
Best always,
Bruce

Dear Bruce,
during my travel, I met in Bucarest Mrs Sarina Ionescu, best friend
of my mother's cousin Dr Gabriella (Gaby) Lichtenberg.
She gave me a lot of original pictures from one branch of my family in
Radautz.
My grandmother (motherside) was born Stern.
In this picture, on the first row, there are 4 girls : the elder is
writen Dora (Pressner), at her right this is Lana Stern.
[Picture can be viewed here:

I don't know who are the others, even there are some first names on the
picture written.
Can you ask to the list if somebody knows these family ??
I know that a part of the family Pressner as Sylvia and Bibi Pressner
emigrated in Caracas (Venezuela) after Transnistria, because they
visited my parents several times.
I try to contact their son who is the President of the Jewish
Community of Caracas by email, but no answer ...
Yours
Sylvie
