Hi Abraham,

When coming out of the Neueweltgasse, you would turn right on the
Siebebuergerstrasse and cross the street straight into the
Masaykgasse. This narrow lane leads into the Splenigasse.
(Strada Traian?)

Subject: [Cz-L] Masarykgasse in Czernowitz

Dear all,

I remember we had in Cz. a street named Masarykgasse (apparently in the
Austrian period), but I do not remember exactly where it was and how to get
there. It was, in fact, a small lane (ein kleines Gaesschen). Can anyone
among the List members explain where it was and provide directions how to
find it ? It is not shown on the various city maps/plans we have and is not
listed on the street finder list. I think it should be in the
Siebenbuergerstrasse area , not far from the Cathedral.
