thank you for the gift of this story. It was the 13th anniversary of my
father's death yesterday - he survived being transported to Mogilev. I still
have a longing to know what happened to him in Transnistria. I'm touched
that in spit of the fears and threats of death you have salvaged the rescue
and the love and protection of your father. Your stories - even though they
are uniquely yours - give me a glimpse of what it would have been like in
that time and place.
