Hello all:=20

My grandmother told me her husband, my grandfather, Sigmund Heitner,=C2=A0w=
as born in Czernowitz.=C2=A0 His mother's maiden name was Sheinholtz.=C2=A0=
 My grandmother, Clara Danziger Heiter was born in Warsaw, Poland, in 1902,=
 and he was ten years older than she.=C2=A0 She told me she and her mother,=
 Rivka Goldberg Danziger, whose family owned a bakery, fled Europe during W=
WI, leaving all family behind,=C2=A0and emigrated to BA, Argentina, when my=
 grandmother was 13 (ca. 1915).=C2=A0 In Argentina, she later met and marri=
ed her husband 6 years later when she was about 20.=C2=A0 My mother was bor=
n in 1922 in BA.=C2=A0 She and my mother remembered how my grandfather woul=
d talk about politics and how he talked to Kaiser Ferdinand, several times =
at=C2=A0"the park".=20

Rifka and my grandmother spoke Polish, German, Yiddish and Russian.=C2=A0 T=
hey later learned and spoke Spanish in Argentina.=C2=A0 Rifka died in Argen=
tina at about age 50 or so.=C2=A0 My grandmother moved to the US with my pa=
rents and refused to learn "any more languages."=20

As you all probably know, that area of the Austro-Hungarian empire was tram=
pled and destroyed during WWI and WWII.=C2=A0 Having a personal interest an=
d as a teacher. I have done quite extensive research of the area and its su=
rrounds, its peoples and histories and agree with a writer here about the S=
lave and Turkish migrations.=C2=A0 If we go back in history even further, t=
he Great Khan and Hun invasions, among others.=20

Can anyone give me information about the ancestory of Sheinholtz, Danziger =
or Dansiger, and Goldberg?=20

Thank you so much.=20
