In best Czernowitz and borrowed British style, I beg to differ.
We do not, each one of us, praise him- or her-self, we praise our joint
endeavour. And even if we would each one of us, praise himself or herself,
This is sometimes necessary in order to feel good and happy.
And why Confucius? Why not the Bible? It says in proverbs: Do not praise
yourself, let others do it. This is what we do; A praises B, B praises C,
C praises A and so on. And sometimes we disagree with each other and write
sarcastic messages. It is all in best Czernowitz traditions, the only thing
missing is that we do not write to each other: "Du Idiot". The reason that
we do not do this, are two:
1. We are not sufficiently familiar with each other.
2. Our moderator Bruce Reisch, would not let us do it.
This is in no way to be taken as criticism of Bruce. He has his hands
full, being a moderator to us immoderate Czernowitzers, so please do not
make his job harder by sending insults in your messages.

Mimi
