It's raining in German - es regnet
Czernowitzer Deutsch it is the same.

And a Regent, even in German is an acting ruler.

Go and understand German when a word has so many meanings .
 Take " Regent" :

=A0 =A0 " Die Regent "=A0=A0=A0means=A0 an orchestra conductor ,
=A0 =A0 " Das Regent "=A0=A0=A0means it's raining !
