Yes, Mimi and Hardy. That's how my mother made them. My father loved
holishkes (with the "o") and so do I. What's more, my mother taught my
wife how to make them and now she makes holishkes to die for. As the
old song goes: "Oy! Ist das a Mama - a mazel auf dem Papa" (or something
like that - it's been many years since I heard my late father sing that
song).
