  Dear all,
Those of you who know Romanian will remember the word "galuste",
meaning dumplings of all sorts, which is probably derived from the Slavic.
We must stop this discussion, Cornel is right, but it is interesting to
see how intertwined the regions were and the influence of language. And
in Greece, they make them from wine-leaves. Who started them first? Many
hundreds of years probably, or even more.
