Hardy..if there had been such an event he might have done!!! And now I come
to think on it,many of those who did the Dniester"detour" and came back also
emigrated..and they too have many among us who like current Czernowitz.It is
my home town...but it is that for the people who live there today as
well.One other thing..I have a son and a daughter who have been,who have
seen the family gravestones and now talk about" our ancestral town"!!! And
that is the way to maybe perpetuate what there was and still is. Cornel
