[Cz-L] My Photo for Our Album and a bit more information about our family

Hello everyone

I only post very rarely to our list but I always read all the postings.

My name is Jeanette Rosenberg and I live in London UK.

My Grandfather Markus Rosenberg was born in house no 73 at Kalichanka
bei Czernowitz on 16 August 1883. He lived there until 1906 when he
went away to become a coal miner in Lemburg. After this, he served in
the Austro-Hungarian Army during WW1. After the war, My grandfather
moved to Leipzig in Germany, then on to Bruchsal in Baden, Germany,
where he married in 1921.
I read the list in the hope of finding out more about my family from
the area. I've added my family names to our family finder. They are

MEERFELD
ROSENBERG
RUBIN
TRESSER

Some members of our family went to Israel, but we have lots touch with
many branches of the family, and of course many others perished in the
Holocaust.
