Are you familiar with the Jewish Genealogical Society of Great Britain?

This is a branch of over 80 'JGS's around the world. Some of our list
members are also members and/or organizers of various branches.
The London, UK branch is a very active one and I'm sure they can
help you in searching for your family roots. I have met several organizing
members at the annual IAJGS conferences that I have gone to.
I hope that you will contact them, as they are very friendly and helpful.
