The Mehlplatz is now a very nice place, very spacious, with good views and
the fountain in the center adds to the leisurely atmosphere.
I remember it as the place where in 1944 and 1945 were sold and bought old
clothes. Neither new ready-made clothes or fabric with which to make clothes
were available.
