Stefaniegasse was part of the Ghetto for a short period, as I
remember it some 8 or 9 days. The fence was across the street
at the corner with Mehlplatz. Through No 3 you could still pass the
Stangerische Shil and to the rest of the town in this period. Later
everyone on this side of the Hauptstrasse had to move to the other
(eastern) side and deportations began. Allover a month.
