Edgar, Dorin,

The Routes to Roots Foundation website
<http://www.rtrfoundation.org> maintains a
database of Jewish vital and other records and
where they are stored. Most of the data are from
Belarus, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland and Ukraine.
For the town of Storozhinets (spelled that way in
their database), they list the following:

Birth records 1909-1941 - Chernovtsy ZAGS Archive (the city archive)
Death records 1933-1942 - Chernovtsy ZAGS Archive
Marriage records 1930-1940 - Chernovtsy ZAGS Archive

Census records 1941-43 - State Archive of Chernovtsy Oblast,
Fond/Opis/Delo: 45/4

Holocaust records - 1941-43 - State Archive of Chernovtsy Oblast
Fond/Opis/Delo: 45/4 (82 books)

If anyone knows the whereabouts of other records
for Storozhinets, feel free to let us know.

Good luck,

Bruce
