Dear Isaac,

First of all - welcome to the list.

Here is how you can get started researching your family. There are two
things you should do to begin:

1. There are several Jewish Genealogical Societies in Florida, all very
active and I suggest that you contact the one that is closest to
where
you live - if you click on this link, you will see a list of all of
them:
        http://www.iajgs.org/members/members.html

2. The JewishGen site is the home of Jewish genealogy and has a wealth
        of resources on it: http://www.jewishgen.org/
On the home page, click on:
If you are a beginner: Click here to get started >

It is work and takes lots of time, but is a very rewarding experience.

Also - please send me your photo for the Bukovina photo album and
tell me where you live in Florida.

Best regards,
Merle
(17 year genealogist)
