Whoever goes to view the Temple look at the left side wall you will see the
specially etched Magen David on the windows glass. I remember quite vividly the
burning of the Temple but I was amazed that these windows survived the blaze.
Shame, this beautiful monument to
Jewish life is condemned to oblivion in generations to come.

Burning of the Tempel was a barbaric act ,no matter who did it.
But if the Tempel was left intact ,the only difference we would
experience today would be that we would have a cinema with
a cupola.

More accurately is to say that the temple was burned by the Germans with the
help of Romanian troops.
