Oblivion ? The Temple -cinema ?
It is the number one tourist attraction of Czernowitz.
What other place has such a curiosity ?
As if it was a wonder created by nature..
The tourists come and say : "What a big and strong building !
It belonged to the Jews but this was long ago."
It will also stand there for many generations to come.
In the center of the town.
It has the strongest walls in town.
The Soviets failed to blow it up.
A monument to human infamy.

Whoever goes to view the Temple look at the left side wall you will see the
specially etched Magen David on the windows glass. I remember quite vividly
the
burning of the Temple but I was amazed that these windows survived the
blaze.
Shame, this beautiful monument to
Jewish life is condemned to oblivion in generations to come.
