[Cz-L] Tribute to Joseph Schmidt

Czernowitzers,

I have just posted a small Tribute to Joseph Schmidt put together by
list member Alfred Schneider.

You may remember it was Fred's idea to auction off his plate block of 10
55 pf. German stamps from 2004 honouring Schmidt, with the monies going
to the Czernowitz cemetery cleanup project. Unfortunately, no bids were
received. The plate block can be viewed now on the Home page of Ehpes:

The Schmidt 'tribute' that Fred put together is accessible from the Menu
on the Home page -> Stories, Histories...' -> click on the link in item,
#37.
