Well - plane to Bucharest - another plane trip to Suceava, and several hours
by road to Czernowitz (and a delay at the Rumanian - Ukraine border
depending on how efficient/co-operative the Border staff are).
Believe me, not so direct. An option I didn't see mentioned in any of the
previous posts.

Another option is the route my family and I took - arriving in Bucharest,
from Israel on El Al, although I arrived there from Australia, and flying
from Bucharest to Suceava.
