Lydia, the meetings my mother used to go once a week always took place at the Cafe de la Paix, on the Place de l'Opéra. Even in the early 90s, although she was already over eighty, she used to go - I remember helping her once or twice to get there, when I happened to be in Paris.
Yes, Czernowitz was something I heard about all my young years, and of course, I liked it - I was three and a half when I left Cz; then, when I grew up, it also became a big part of myself, although I'm probably not such a big fan of Cz as you are... Mais je te comprends très bien!
