I wish I could have had memories of Czernowitz but it was my great grandparents and great great grandparents who walked those streets and experienced a lot of what you all have shared. I can tell you that I now have a much better understanding of the lives they lived especially since my grandmother was a first generation American...my great grandparents childhood friends but it was not til they met up in New York City, that they fell in love and got married...my great great grandmother also came to America.
