You are right, but there were two shops of Schmidt & Fontin, one on the
Hauptstrasse number 4 and one down, opposite thr church, beside the pharmacy
Greif, with the two Hercules figures on each side..do you remember???At No.6
was Lauterbach &Schnee, a shop with english materials for man suits,
followed by a big entrance to a court, there were some shops and a taylor,
than at No.8 was a shop with ladys underweare and woolen wests, "Hermann
Agatstein" this was my uncles shop, as child I went very often with my
mother there, why I know exactly the shops..
