Your memory is wonderful! Do you remember the shops on the other side of
the street? At no. 7 was Gelband's shoe shop. Max Gelband was my
great-uncle, and Anny Matar's stepfather. I understand that it was a very
smart shop. It must have been just about opposite Hermann Agatstein if this
was no. 8.
