Hi Lydia, No, not only doctors, these I found in the directory, but my
grandmother was an circus-artist, an artist-rider in an "Wanderzirkus" from
Leipzig she was the daughter of the owner, Schulem Gruber....this circus
came to Czernowitz, and my grandfather, (he was book-keeper at the
"Bukowiner Regional Bank") living in Klocuzcka(his father was an
"Ackerjude) sah her, fall in love with her and married her, she was the
mother of my mother, so, there were Ackerjuden, artists, soldiers, in my
family...but they are not all in the directory,,,
