It was great to see Mr. Stanger's and Mr. Ginninger's faces as I remembered them
from our Yiddish School #18. I wish someone had a picture from my 6 th
grade class.

Thanks Lucca and Hardy.

Best regards,

Ruth

This photo was taken in 1945 - not sure - during the second Russian
occupation. You can see the very famous physical education teacher  who was
responsible for our  military education, Mr. Stanger. Right next to him is Mr.
Ginninger to whom I owe my ability to read, write and speak well jiddish.
I am sure many members of the list have known him.
I am in the front row with my friend Wally Schummer.
In the upper row is my dearest friend Clara (Claire) who is no longer alive. Her
name was Clara Ruhalter, later she married a cousin of mine by the name of Moshe
Jungmann. He was the son of professor Jungmann, a teacher of religion.
