Post card from Putna- October 15, 1899.
The rest I cannot read . Can anybody assist ?
     Rumanian peasants.
In Putna monastery lies Stefan the Great , big moldovan
voievod ,that is war lord , that means ruler.
He beat the Turks on the battlefield , always victorious.
After all the glorious wars Moldova became a vasal province
to the Turks paying taxes for many long years.
Therefore they built the Putna Monastery to put Stefan
at rest and tourists come to pay tribute.
Also many rumanians , as Putna is in the Suceava county.
One of the nicests poems of the rumanian language
is the ballad about Stefans mother:
" Muma lui Stefan cel Mare" that is "Stefan's mammy".
What she did and how she behaved -in a future mail
          on request.
