Hi Asher,

I have no definite explanation, except that possibly your family received
one of the initial 15600 authorizations issued by Popovici and my father
received one of the 4000 authorizations issued later.

The authorization given to my family is signed by both Popovici as the mayor
of Cernauti and Major Mihai Iliescu, who was the "delegate of the government
of the province of Bucovina".

What I have is the original authorization and it states that this
declaration "Model E" and # 244.
